Assignments, Divine Intervention, and More...

This post comes after reading Spirit Junkie by Gabrielle Bernstein and contains just some of the lessons I learned while turning the pages of this book…

I know I've learned

  • With my inner guide and the guidance of the universe anything is possible.

  • People are most definitely assignments

  • Miracles are natural, when they're not occurring something's off.

  • My energy impacts your energy

As much as I've learned to love everyone, I can't love everyone. Whether that's a fault of mine or not, I've learned it to be a truth for me. With some of the people that came into my life immediately following the conclusion of my journey with Spirit Junkie I learned, and I can't even begin to explain how much and how quickly, that people are assignments. Some assignments are more dangerous than others, but assignments nonetheless.

I've also learned that sometimes you can't handle these assignments kindly. Sometimes it's necessary to take a chainsaw to the bush instead of beating around it and while I'm not one to support violence, I'm also not an advocate for defenselessness. Luckily for me, I learned my lesson quickly enough. Between divine intervention and the advice from great friends and mentors, I survived.

Speaking of divine intervention, that happened. I learned that being passionate isn't a bad thing, having feelings and expressing your emotions is part of being human.

So that's is how I will leave you for now: Releasing your emotions and passion with pure motives bodes well, but from a negative source beware.
